losing strenght on cut= losing muscle?

Hi, I can't find any good science or articles on this question. But lets say Im finishing my bulk doing 4x6 110kg benchpress, then by the end of my cut I'm at 4x4 105kg - will this equal the same as I lost muscle, or is it due to calories getting restricted hence lower energi in my work...
