Are 3 sets 4 exercises per muscle group enough?

Hi, i'm 16 year old and i normally did 3 exercises x 3 sets but now i started going to the gym 6 times a week and added 1 more exercises to all muscle groups, i personally tried 4 exercises x 4 sets but after few exercises i felt exhausted and i want to know if 3 sets are enough or should i push...
