Building muscle but not losing fat.

I have been recomping to lose some fat over my newly gained muscle, but my fat doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I was 215 eating 3000 cals a day 3300 cals on workout days, and workout 4 times a week. I am now 218 over a week fro, 215 and my forearms grew 1/4" and it doesn't seem like fat gains...

Not lifting heavy doesn't give you good muscles?

I've been working since 8-9 months and my stats aren't really good but the change in my body is good. Should I continue with it? It's really sad watching the new guys lifting more than me but I have a better body than them obviously so weights matter or not?

How can I build muscle when my metabolism is real fast?

Hey! I've been going to the gym for over a year now, I eat pretty well, and I take a protein shake after I work out but my metabolism is really fast so I'm burning off the muscle as fast as I'm making it. Any suggestions on what I can do to actually maintain muscle? Thanks!
