So...I'm pretty sure this is a really dumb question, but here goes:
Are newb gains muscle specific?
To clarify, I just started getting in shape and starting with a cut. I've been doing full body lifts for 4 months now and about last month all my lifts stalled and I haven't been able to go past my current wall.
Now since all my lifts have stalled now, what if I start working a muscle that I haven't worked as hard yet, such as my abs. Would I be able to progress my abs? Or is it by default going to be stalled now as well?
I'm fairly certain I would still see newb gains in undeveloped muscles, but just asking as I'm curious.
Thanks.
