Hey y'all,
So I recently decided to start preparing and enter the world of competitive physique and bodybuilding. I have a few questions concerning cutting fat, but I'm going to dedicate this forum to the most pressing (and confusing) question I have.
I am currently 6'0 tall, 205 lbs, 12.3% BF. I want to cut down to 9% BF and start a lean bulk from there. My question is really this, how can I drop fat while maintaining the muscle that I have? I have a strong amount of muscle and don't want to sacrifice the progress I've made so far. I'm eating about 2,000 calories a day (30% Carbs, 45% Protein, 25% Fat), I'm doing fasted cardio in the morning and lifting in the afternoon, I'm still lifting heavy (as I've seen a lot of info about doing that while cutting and lean bulking). If there's any more info you need to give me the best advice, I'd be happy to comply. Reason I'm asking is because I was doing chest and tris today and couldn't lift as heavy as I usually do. It could have been mental, but it could have also been diet. I'm not sure.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
KP
