It's my understanding that the average person can only produce 1-3 lbs of muscle mass per month under the perfect circumstances; exercise; diet; supplementation; etc. From my expierence that has always been a fairly accurate assumption ... but I always sat at about 183lbs for 5 years (by choice)...
