Muscle gaining

Over the last 5 months I have started lifting very consistently. I went from 136-143 in this time. In theses 5 months I mainly used rep ranges of 10-12. The last month I have noticed I haven't gained any weight would u guys recommend lifting heavier for lower reps like 6-8 to build muscle quickly?
