If you had all the money in the world, will it make building muscle easier

Just curious question I came up with.

If you had all the money that could pay for all expenses, and you wanted to bulk without getting fat, can you do so?

Through the best body sculpting on the planet, liposuction, cosmetic surgery, etc. etc.

Just how much easier would getting a good body be if you had the bucks?

What would you guys personally do?

Also, I know this is in the Teen Bodybuilding section, but that's the closest I could find to in the 20s

:D

Losing fat but still gaining muscle and strength ?

So I cut sugar out of my diet for a month to see what happened to my testosterone levels and not much occurred, so then I did a month of eating sugary stuff (extra to my diet) just to kinda compare differences. Something unexpected and unlogical happened, I started losing fat ? This literally went against all my logic so I’m kinda confused and was wondering f anyone could explain for me.

I was eating the same amount of calories not including the sugary foods so if anything my calories were higher when I lost fat.

My program stayed the same and I also increased my deadlift and bench during this time.

Any questions just ask and I’ll answer because I wanna learn what I’m doing to do this.

Why do my pressing muscle group & legs grow SO much faster compared to my pulling ?

Title says all. It feels like i'm always platued with any pulling exercise.. its rare for me to increase strength...

I use the same tatics on my push/legs and they respond GREAT.. the pull muscles horrible!

My calves has a better time growing then my back... and everyone says calves are hard..??? Like what?

I train straight arm, vertical, horizontal, and barely now inverted (i dont think just because i miss inverted exercises for a while it'll cause that much a difference in overall strength)

If I only do deadlift, what muscles will lack behind?

I understand that (traditional) deadlift trains mostly the lower back, core and hamstrings, also a good amount of upper back and traps.

So just for discussion purpose, Say if I only do deadlift, after a period of time what kind of muscle imbalance will I develop? And will that imbalance worsen to an extend that i could injure anywhere due to the muscle in that area becomes too weak?

Or since deadlift requires the whole body engagement that just doing deadlift is fine for overall strength and muscle development?

Of course, assuming my form is perfect...

Someone on YouTube (Alan Thrall) said if one has anterior pelvic tilt, doing deadlift could make it worse, is this also true and I could develop worse anterior pelvic tilt?

Disporportionate muscles

I’ve just started to do some exercises. Mainly just push ups and pull ups (alongwith variations) for upper body. Not enough confidence or time yet to hit the gym =p. Anyhow I’ve recently noticed a considerable difference between the size of my left and right lat (right is bigger). My right biceps and triceps are also bigger but very minutely. How can i fix this? For example, how can i put more pressure on my left side than right?

Muscle twitches won’t let me fall sleep. Overtrained CNS or Epilepsy?

Greetings Everyone

I decided to run a topic here, as it is probably the last thing I can do in my situation.

I’m working out regularly for a 2,5 year now. About a year ago I noticed a muscle twitches that occured after workout. It first started only in my legs (calves mostly), but then, after about month or two it spreaded out on the whole body. Normally I wouldn’t give a sheet about it, but it was so onerous that it affected my sleeping (the falling asleep phase to be exact). Night by night while falling asleep I had (and still have) these myoclonic jerks, and because of them I couldn’t fall asleep and get a proper rest. There are nights when because of that I can’t get sleep at all. As you can imagine, it totally damaged my life, work, workout effects, relations with friends etc.

At first I was aware that it can be some vitamin/mineral deficits, so I started supplementing my diet with extra magnessium, potassium, then calcium, D vitamin, fish oil, omega acids, glutamine (so I do for now). It didn’t help at all.

After that I decided to go see a neurologist. For this year I’ve visited four of them, and all of these ‘experts’ had different diagnosis, mostly based on our talk. First suggested me depression/neurosis, second one the same, third one hypothesis was that it is caused by severe insomnia and it’s some kind of perpetuum mobile. All of them gave me the recipes for medications (mostly anti-depressants based on benzodiazepines, diazepam etc. and some sleeping drugs). I never had the problem with depression, my mood never went down, I didn’t feel nervous, anxious etc., and as they didn’t send me for additional medical examinations I felt like it is a total bullsheet just to get rid of me out of their cabinet. However, I tried to take the lighter sleeping/chill out pills for a couple times (hydroxizinum, benzodiazepines). The effects came immediately and I had a proper sleep during that couple nights.

The fourth doctor which I contaced lately suggested me that it is something called ‘myoclonic epilepsy’, which is a rare variety of traditional epilepsy. It is triggered by stress, lack of sleep and heavy fatigue after physical activities. Still I have a dillema if this diagnosis is right (after the previous ones). He sent me on couple examinations, for example blood tests, emg, eeg, magnetic resonance imaging and all these tests didn’t show anything alarming. I don’t want to take an epileptic medication which he suggested me (as the antidepressants) because I don’t want any side effects of it, such as addiction, gaining weight, bad metabolism, problems with consciousness, mood swings, impotency, driving problem etc.
When I take a total break from workouts ( had couple ones during this year lasting 1-2 weeks) the myoclonic jerks dissapear somewhat after a week and I can sleep barely normaly (sometimes they still occur, but they are so light that I can fall asleep). Lately I had a 2,5 week break caused by flu and during this time I didn’t have them. After coming back to workouts twiches always appear immiediately, even though after that last break I drastically lowered intensity of workout by about 50%.

I also should mention that the year of 2017 which this thing appeared was indeed very hard and stressful for me because of work and other personal problems. But with the end of 2017 everything end up, and for about 4 months now I’m living without any stress. Late 2017 I reduced my training by taking off cardio workouts and increased carbos and proteins in diet to bulk some mass (til now) but all this changed nothing, problem still occurs.

I never took drugs (occasionaly smoked pot at the parties in high school), I don’t drink, I don’t smoke cigarettes. I have a healthy, balanced nutritious diet. I never thought that something like overtraining can happen to me, as I’m not a professional bodybuilder and I’ve always treated training like a form of recreation. However I trained hard and progressed a lot, mostly basing on a medium weight and big amount of reps. Can it be the cns overtraining? I can’t believe I have a epilepsy either, as all medical tests are ok, and no one in my family had such problem. I don’t want to cease training for a longer period and loose all the effects of hard work of this 2,5 year. Also, I don’t want to take epileptic medication/antidepressants as I mentioned above. But I can’t live like this anymore. I have no idea what’s wrong and I guess that doctor’s haven’t got it either. What should I do?

Pre-Kaged with Clear Muscle/Muscle Builder/NANOX9

As you see in the subject heading, the question I am having with PRE-WORKOUT supplements.. These are currently the supplements I have, but do not take the full amount of them yet.. Lately I have just been doing Pre-kaged, clear muscle and NanoX9.. The NanoX9 I wont take the full serving.. The reason I don't is because I haven't reached out to the pros yet.. Am I over supplementing?? I know the clear muscle basically retains the protein you eat/drink all day before/after the workout.. I am curious is the NANOX9 is too much with the Pre-Kaged mainly?

Adding the muscle builder too is that too much??

I appreciate any1s professional opinion! I know a decent amount about Pre-workout but not everything so always love to get opinions..

Thanks so much!

Are these 5 exercises sufficient to stray muscle imbalances?

I am looking to primarily gain strength.

Currently, I am training using 5 exercises with a 3x5 set and rep scheme:
Squat, Bench press, Standing military press, Deadlifts, Chinups

I've been training for about 6 months now and am making steady progress

Question(s): If I continue to increase my lifts for all of these exercises, will it be enough to maintain body structure and stop any muscle imbalances from forming?

If not, why? What other exercises do you recommend I should include?

Edit: I should mention that I do neutral grip weighted chinups

I gained 1 kg fat and lost 1 kg muscle

Hello Everyone I am 23 year old male I weigh 76 kg and 1.77 meters.

I am on the SL 5x5 program, I also practice kickboxing 2 to 4 times per week, I get quality sleep, get between 140 to 180 grams of protein per day 200 grams of carbs and 60 grams of healthy fats, I am maintaing my calories and Skinny-fat. I do body composition analysis on the InBody machine and here are my results from two weeks ago:

Skeletal Muscle Mass 37.3 kg
Body Fat Mass 10.1 kg
Body Fat Percentage 13.6%

Today My Results are:
Skeletal Muscle Mass 36.4 kg
Body Fat Mass 11.6 kg
Body Fat Percantage 15.4%

This is so demotivational and extremely frustrating, I feel like all that work is futile and I should give up on it.

Are these machines accurate or simply garbage?

Losing muscle?

Started a cut 3 weeks ago, went from 93 to 90kg pretty quickly since I was losing water weight and some fat in the process. Today I went to use boditrax and the results were absurd. I lost muscle event thought I've kept a 500 cal deficit with about 250g of protein a day. Lifted heavy with some days light to recover. Cardio was added by 20min each week so starting a 4x a week 20min light-moderate intensity on a bike. Whats going on, I can see more vascularity poping out and muscle definition, how reliable is boditrax? See attachment below. Thanks
